Loves to Swing!

The weather was so nice out today so we took Anna Kate to the park after lunch. There were a lot of people out! AK had a ball in the swing. She squealed and laughed the whole time!


Stacey and Connor came too! Connor really enjoyed running around and going up and down the slides! I know it won't be long before AK will be right behind him!

6 month stats and Kade's Birthday

Anna Kate had her 6 month check-up yesterday. She weighed 15lbs 15oz (40th %) and was 27 inches long (80th %). She had to get 3 shots:( but did well.

Today we celebrated Kade's birthday! AK was in need of a nap so she wasn't her normal smiley self.

Lots to say!!!

Anna Kate had a lot to say at dinner last night! She even threw in a few "da-da"s which made Bryant very happy (she doesn't know what she is saying! ha!). She thinks she is something else sitting in a high chair now!

Catch Up

We have been busy lately! I have come down with the stomach bug:( I haven't been able to be around my girl all day! Bryant has been great and Nanny came and took her for most of the day to get her out of this house! I am starting to feel better, hopefully it was just a 24 hour thing. Please pray that AK doesn't get it!

We have a crawler now and she is quick! She has started doing this one-legged crawl that has turned into a "bear walk." It is too funny!


Yes, this is another daddy outfit! Ha! He had to dress her today b/c I have been so sick. I said "Bryant, she doesn't match!" He replies "What? It's all pink!" ha!

Last week Kade came over to play one evening. Can't believe he will be 1 on Monday!

AK had her first Valentine's day. Here she is reading her card from mommy and daddy.

So Big!

Anna Kate is getting so big so fast! She has done so many "grown up" things just this week.

She has learned to sit up from laying down on her belly and this is how I found her after her morning nap :)

She went grocery shopping with me today and I decided to take her out of her car seat and let her sit in the cart with her floppy seat cover. She thought she was something else! She smiled and kicked her little feet the whole time.

We have started using a high chair. The first time I put her in it she laughed out loud! She likes to sit in a high chair at restaurants too.

And we are just about crawling. She can crawl backwards and does this thing where she almost stands up and bear walks. She is getting fast!

On the move!

6 Months Old!

AK is 6 months old today! She has grown so much! What are we up to these days? Six month clothing is beginning to get a little tight......let's go shopping! ha! She is still in size 2 diapers and eating 6 oz every 3-4 hours. No solids yet b/c of a little issue she has going on. Hopefully we can begin solids soon :) She is such a joy! She LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Every time he comes on she gets the biggest grin on her face! It's precious! She is scooting now and can get up on her hands and knees but not for long. She has also learned to sit up from laying on her tummy. She has only done this a few times. She "talks" all day and is always a happy girl. She loves to read, sing, and play with her toys. Bath time is still her favorite! She is pretty good at keeping herself busy. In fact, she would much rather be in the floor playing than sitting on someone's lap. She is still very nosy and likes to be included in all conversations! She sleeps about 8 hours (most) nights. There are still nights where she is up more often. She has done great staying with Bryant's mom and grandmother. We are so lucky to have them!

How cute is she? We thank God everyday that he picked us to be her parents!!!
