First Weekend Away

I left Anna Kate for the first time this weekend. We had a girls weekend in Savannah (to celebrate Kristen) and Bryant had to work most of the weekend, so I took AK to my parents house. She did great and I enjoyed the break but I did miss her a lot!! I love Savannah and remember going there often as a child. Bryant and I also went there for our 1 year anniversary a few years ago. Here are a few pictures from our weekend!

We really wanted to eat at Paula Deen's restaurant. Two of the girls left out early Saturday morning to get us a reservation for lunch but by the time they got close, everything was booked!

I know this is a random picture, but I remember walking up and down the cobblestone roads with my family, as a child. We would always stop in Savannah on our way to Disney. We took a trolley ride around Savannah while we were there.

AK was very busy visiting while I was gone. She went to school with my mom to see her friends. She went to see Aunt Carol and Uncle Benny. She also went to see my Granny Joyce (her great-grandmother) who is a fabulous pianist. Granny is showing AK how to play!

Wordless Wednesday

Connor's Birthday

Connor turned 3 last weekend and today we celebrated at the park! Anna Kate had a ball and when we left she slept for over 2 hours! The weather was great but it was a little chilly with the wind. I can't believe sweet Connor is 3!

I gave up desert for Lent so I didn't get to taste the cake but it looked really good!

New Favorite Spot

My parents came to visit today. It was so nice!! We were playing in the living room. It was such a beautiful day today so we had the back door open. Anna Kate has become a little explorer and decided that looking out the glass door is her new favorite spot to hang out. She was so funny talking and waving to things she saw outside!

On the move!

Anna Kate has been crawling for about 2 weeks now. She is also pulling up on everything! I wanted to get some video of her doing both but of course she was not in the mood to perform this afternoon. Here is a little bit of her crawling!!

7 months and Daffodils

Anna Kate is 7 months old today! She is so busy these days!

• She is wearing 6-9 month clothes
• Size 2 diapers
• Size 1 shoes (as of today! See below)
• Knows her name and turns and smiles when you call her
  
• She can wave hi and bye
• She constantly says "dadadada" and "gagagagaga" and "babababa"
  
• She is crawling everywhere and is pulling up!
• We are working with the sippy cup but she doesn't seem too interested!
• She loves Sophie and squeals everytime she comes in the room.
• Mickey Mouse clubhouse is her favorite show (just the beginning and the "hotdog" dance)
• Loves to be outside and loves the swing!
• Can clap her hands and loves to bang 2 toys together
  
• No teeth yet
• Eating food 2-3 times a day (apples, pears, prunes)

This was by far the hardest "chair" picture yet!
