We had playgroup at our house today. We had a ball and all of the babies have grown so much! We have missed the last 2 moths and seeing everyone today was so nice. Easter Weekend

This was Anna Kate's first Easter! We woke up at home on Sunday morning so Bryant could be there to see what the Easter bunny brought. Then, AK and I headed to Beaufort to go to church with my family. Bryant had to work. We had a great first Easter with AK!

An eventful weekend

Last Saturday I helped host a monogram shower for Taylor. We had a great time and everything was so nice. Her big day (July 9th) will be here very soon! She got so many good things. We had to hurry home from Wilson because a bad storm was coming. Little did we know how bad!

Thank goodness MiMi came to stay the weekend with us while Bryant was out of town for work.

When we got back to Greenville we watched the news and heard of several tornadoes in our area. Thankfully we were safe, but the county I teach in was not!

There were so many families affected by these storms but Greene Co has really come together and supported each other and began to rebuild. Thankfully, all of my kindergarten babies are safe!

Kristen's Wedding Weekend and a Tooth!

Anna Kate finally started to cut her first tooth this weekend (8 months old). So far, it hasn't seemed to bother her too much as long as she has something to chew on!!

We had a very busy weekend with Kristen's wedding. We had a great time at all of the events!

This was taken at the Bridesmaid's luncheon. Baily, the flower girl holding AK. Baily's mom just had a baby 2 weeks ago and her name is also Anna Kate!

Mrs. Judy brought out this picture at the luncheon. It's a picture of us girls when we were in middle school. Someone said "there's a lot of metal in that picture!" haha

8 months old!

Anna Kate is 8 months old today!! Time is surely flying by. Doesn't she look so big in the chair!

What are you up to these days AK?

• Crawling and pulling up on everything
• You are getting brave and standing on your own
• Still no teeth!
• Size 6-9 month clothes and 9 month too!
• Size 2 diapers
• Sleeping about 10 hours at night
• Eating solids - apples, pears, prunes, sweet potatoes, squash, turkey, and chicken
• Talking all day
• Laughing and smiling at everything and everybody!
• Waving "hi" and "bye-bye"
• I love the grin I get when I haven't seen you all day!
• We are in the big bathtub now and you love it!
• Reading and singing songs are some of your favorite things to do!
• We had a great doctor visit on Friday (17.2 lbs) and found out we do not have to go to Duke for the GI problems....they are correcting themselves. Praise God!!
