Fun Weekend

We had playgroup on Saturday at Elm Street Park. This was our first time going and we had a great time. Bryant was able to join us too!

After playgroup my parents came into town to watch Anna Kate while we went to a couple's shower for Taylor and Brad. Their wedding is a little over a month away. We had a great time!!

9 Month Check-Up

We had our 9 month well child check up today and everything was great. She is 18.4 lbs (25%) 27.5 in long (50th%) and head circumference is 44 cm (50%). Thank the good Lord for a healthy baby girl :)

First Mother's Day

I had my first Mother's Day this past Sunday and it was fabulous! Anna Kate spent the night with my parents Saturday night and I actually slept until 9:00 on Sunday morning.....undisturbed! It's been a while since that has happened. Bryant gave me the book "Heaven is for Real." I am really looking forward to reading it. We drove down Sunday and had lunch with my family and then came back to Greenville for dinner with Bryant's family. We had a great weekend!

3 generations :)

9 Months Old

Anna Kate is 9 months old today! She has now been out in the world for as long as she was in my belly....hahaha! She is a busy girl at 9 months! I think she weighs a little over 18lbs.

The only way I can semi-keep a bow in her hair is to trick her. I put one in and as she is pulling it out, I put another in!

At 9 months we can:

• Dance!!
• Talk (baba, dada, mama, no-no, hey there, gaga, yayayaya, etc.)
• Sign for "more" and "all done"
• Take a bath in the big tub and looooooves it!
• Has taken her 1st step
• Can stand alone for a long time!
• Still loves to read books
• Sophie is still her favorite toy!
• Size 3 diapers
• Size 9 month and 9-12 month clothes
• Claps her hands and loves to be sang to
• Has 2 teeth!
• Loves food! Pears, apples, bananas, squash, sweet potatoes, prunes and yogurt are her favorites.

We have our 9 month check-up on May 16th so I will have more "stats" then. Our sweet girl is getting so big! We love you AK!

She is into everything.....opening cabinets and drawers! All the while saying "no no no" when she's doing it!

Seperation Anxiety and a Dancing Queen!

We have been going through so major separation anxiety issues within the past 2 weeks. I have had to leave my workout at the gym several times to come to the nursery to a screaming baby! I also had my number flash on the screen at church for the first time this past Sunday to come get her. I hope this phase passes quickly!

I know this is separation anxiety because as soon as I pick her up she starts clapping her hands and laughing......no tears!

I know there is nothing wrong with this sweet girl! She just doesn't understand why mommy is not there!

*On a lighter note.....AK has a love for dancing and music! This video is just a small snapshot of her dancing skills. She can hear music anywhere and begins to dance!
