Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our new house this year. We had both of our families over for lunch and everything was great!!AK enjoying her turkey

AK this year. I'm hoping to squeeze another year out of this precious pillowcase dress!!

Thursday night I was cleaning up the kitchen and heard some rustling around in the living room. Bryant had started putting up the Christmas tree without me having to ask!! I think he is more excited this year because Anna Kate is so much fun! She runs around the house yelling "HO HO HO!"

Friday morning mom and I headed out shopping. We did not get up early with the crazies but we did have a fun day!

Awesome Weekend!

We had a busy but very fun weekend. We started Friday afternoon with Anna Kate's 15 month check-up. She weighed 20 lbs 4 oz (11%) and was 30.5 in (47%). Her growth has slowed some but the doctor did not seem concerned because she is so BUSY!

On Saturday morning we got up and ran some errands and then went to Addie's 3rd birthday party at Jumpfit. AK had a really good time but was not thrilled to go down the inflatable slide.

I tried climbing up there with her and let her go down and she still screamed! She did enjoy climbing and sliding on the regular equipment.

My parents came up Saturday afternoon to keep AK so we could go to a wedding. Everything was so nice. Congrats Stuart and Josh!

This morning I found out I achieved National Board certification. I am beyond thrilled!!!

Lots of Visiting

We had a fun long weekend full of visiting! Anna Kate and I headed to Beaufort - Bryant had to go out of town for work. Friday before we left we met up with Elizabeth and Taylor in Washington to shop a little. I actually found a lot of things and am very proud of myself for already starting my Christmas shopping. When we got to Beaufort Leslie stopped by for a visit! Of course AK was in full show-of f mode!! We met Aunt Carol and Uncle Benny at Chick-fil-a on Saturday and also ran into Mrs. Nancy, Joe, Aunt Al and Uncle Ray!! AK had a blast at Chick-fil-a and playing on the big playground.

Anna Kate didn't believe me when I said my drink was all gone ~so she bit into the cup to be sure!

15 months old!!

Anna Kate is 15 months old today! She is such a mess! We are having so much fun with her. She is still very busy, only taking one nap a day for only about an hour. She sleeps around 10 hours at night (most nights ;)

She has become so verbal! She tries to repeat so many things and is really doing well with speaking. She still loves to read!! She loves jewelry and things all things should be a necklace or bracelet.

We are finally getting settled into our new house and AK is adjusting well. We have an open staircase now and her favorite thing to do is climb! I always know when she is heading up the stairs because she will start counting saying "two, two" I try to count the stairs with her each time she starts and she is really learning. She knows two, three, six, eight and nine. We are also working on animal sounds. We have the dog and cat sound down!


She is such a joy and is learning so many new things each day. We love you sweet girl!!
