Early Birthday Present

Mimi and Papa surprised AK with a new water table for her birthday and she loves it!! Only about 2 more weeks and my sweet girl will be 2.....I can't believe it!!

Going on a Boat Ride!

Still playing catch up on the blog! After week got back from Ocracoke Rex and Melisa asked us to join them on the boat one Saturday afternoon. I wasn't sure how Anna Kate would do but she loved it!! She even rode in the tube behind the boat and threw an absolute fit when she had to get out of the water.

We rode the boat up to Washington and ate dinner and had ice cream:) AK decided she wanted a ring pop!!

Ocracoke Trip

We took a baby free trip to Ocracoke a few weeks ago with Bryan and Stacey. We had a great time! It was so nice just to do nothing!!! We were there for 3 days and 2 nights which was a perfect amount of time to have a break!

On the ferry over to Ocracoke there was no other cars on our side.......so, we had our own little tailgate and had snacks during our 2 hour ride. The boys already relaxing!

Thursday morning we got up and went to breakfast and then headed out to the beach. I love that you can drive your truck right on the beach so you don't have to tote all of your beach gear! We were a little upset this year that we had to purchase a permit to be able to drive on the beach. We didn't have to do that last year.....

After we did the beach all day, we had an early dinner and decided to rent bicycles to ride around the island. We made the boys rent the tandem bicycles. Needless to say, that was an interesting experience. I am not the best driver!!

Friday morning we got up and just took our time getting our things together and then had an early lunch at Jolly Roger before getting on the ferry and heading home.

We had a wonderful time and felt very rested and refreshed when we got back to our sweet girl! We are so thankful for wonderful grandparent's who loved on our babies while we were away!!

Our Little Gymnast

Anna Kate started gymnastics earlier in June and has loved every class so far! She is doing great following directions and trying all of the different equipment!

Marble's Museum

I have A LOT of blogging to catch up on! We have been very busy this summer with so many new experiences for Anna Kate. I have finally gotten my pictures downloaded to the computer so now I will try and get caught up!!

We went to the Marble's Museum a couple of weeks ago with Aunt Melisa, Jackson, Abby, Grandma and Nanny. All of the kids had a great time.
