Fourth of July Week

We headed to Beaufort for fourth of July weekend. We ended up going down early Sunday morning to meet my parents for church. The kids had been at VBS with my mom earlier in the week and they got to sing in church on Sunday.

We had to drive down in separate cars because Bryant had to come back for work on Monday. Beau rode with me and had the entire backseat to himself but of course he had to sit right up behind me with his head resting most of the time on the center console.

After church we headed downtown Beaufort to eat lunch and look at the boats...

Despite the pretty weather in this picture, it got very rainy very quickly so we had to postpone our beach visit on this day.

We woke up Monday morning and headed out in the boat with Sarah, Kade and her family. We went to a small island across from Sea Level and had the whole thing to ourselves!

Sarah's dad let both kids drive the boat!!

Mom and I took the kids back to the waterfront that night for ice cream and fireworks.....

We headed back home on Tuesday for AK's last T-Ball game....

Sweet Mary Griffin was in town for a doctor appointment and was able to stop by and visit :)

Anna Kate and Corban are both still loving tennis! I think we will continue the class on into the fall!

We have one silly boy on our hands!!

Lots to catch up on......

Summer is in full swing and we are taking advantage of it! I love being able to be home for the summer. Some days are very LONG but most days we are up and out early!! The kids are doing tennis and gymnastics weekly and we have had some fun playdates, birthday parties and trips to the pool.

I had the opportunity to go to the ECU women's football clinic with my friend Crystal. It was my first time and I had blast! We got to meet players, coaches, eat lunch and run drills! Coach Mo is the new head football coach.

I also had to opportunity to go to Camp Trinity for a few days with the leadership team I am part of for our county. It was very refreshing and relaxing to get away (other than sitting in trainings during the day! ha!) We did have some free time to go to the beach and we did several team building activities including a cruise down Taylor's Creek in Beaufort.

I was able to go for a short walk by myself one day around the grounds and saw this fountain with the cross behind it. Love!

Horses on Carrot Island

My parents kept the kids most of the time I was gone and AK had her first riding lesson of the year. She picked right up where she left off.

Bryant had the kids one night while I was gone and they enjoyed Chick-Fil-A for dinner. The owner let AK make her own ice cream cone!

We all went to see Finding Dory. Cute movie!!

Addison's Bday party at Air U! We are so blessed that AK has such a sweet group of friends. This has been one of the top things on my prayer list!

Beau has figured out how to open the blinds! At any given time at our house you may drive by and see the bottom blinds open!

Anna Kate loves what she calls "The Pringles Challenge" where you get blindfolded and have to guess which pringle she give you. It is hilarious!

We went to a summer festival in Washington....

Corban's #1 Favorite place to eat right now.....Sam Jones!

Bryant was able to take C to his buddies farm the other day and let him get on several different tractors. He was definitely in his happy place!

One night at home playing in the playroom.....this is where the best memories are made!
