More Catching Up...

Let it be known that Beau is still a HOT mess! He got into AK's book bag the other day and ate her homework and most of the folder. We just had to laugh it off (AK didn't think it was very funny)...

I let him ride to pick Anna Kate up from gymnastics the other day and when I looked in the backseat he had put himself in her booster seat! He is too funny!

Clifford came to Barnes and Noble the other night and Corby was so excited!!

We tried out the new mini-golf course here in town. It was something fun to do on a yucky day....

We also got to go on a fishing trip recently. The kids loved it but AK was terrified when she caught a huge flounder! She even dropped the fishing pole and ran. I tried to get her to stand near it to get a photo and she was screaming and trembling! Terrified! The closest we could get her to it is in the pic below....

We were able to help host an engagement party for our Aunt Cinni

We went out to Freeboot Friday last weekend.....

New Beginnings

Anna Kate has begun first grade, Corban is now in 3 year old preschool and I have begun my 11th year in Kindergarten. Lots of new beginnings for our family and we have been super busy. We had open house at school at the end of August. Bryant was out of town for work so thankfully Mimi was here to bring AK.

AK's teacher gave her a paper that she was supposed to open the night before the first day of school. It had a sweet note and "jitter glitter" for her to put under her pillow to help her get a good night's rest before the first day.

Ready for the first day (our district is still in uniforms but I think she makes it look pretty cute!)

 We got to grandma's house to pick up Corban after school and quickly realized Anna Kate and Abby wore the same dress on their first day :)

Corban had a short open house one morning before his first day of school.  

SO ready to go to school!! 

Corby has gone back to staying with Mrs. Nancy and Braden on Fridays and absolutely loves it!

A few more things to catch up on.....

We went to the Watermelon festival for the Friday night activities and the parade on Saturday. It was hot! AK got pulled from the audience to help with the dog show. She loved it!

We were able to scoot to Busch Gardens one last time before the end of summer...

We celebrated Abby's birthday at the Painted Peacock....

Bryant and I were able to go to the ECU vs State game :)

We celebrated my 33rd birthday with a fun night out!
