Getting Ready for Christmas!!

We had some sweet friends over for our annual gingerbread house party. We have done this now for 3 years with the same families...

My team at school in the Christmas spirit. I saw these shirts online and a girl at our school made them. Hilarious! They are Spice Girl inspired! (The writing around Santa says..."Tell me what you want, what you really really want).....

We hit Starbucks one night and rode around looking at Christmas lights....

One of my college roommates, Melissa got married in Pittsboro. Thankfully the Whites live there now and they kept AK and Corby and we were able to spend the night with them and catch up. We also got to go see Lily at the stables.....

And now it is Christmas Eve and the kiddos decided that Santa needed donuts instead of cookies (and they got one too!)

Merry Christmas to all! We have two very excited little ones who are very ready to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ!!!

Anna Kate's First Competitive Meet

Anna Kate had her first competitive gymnastics meet at the beginning of December in Myrtle Beach. It was awesome! She did so well and we are so proud of her. I am thankful to have one down so we all know what to expect. My nerves were definitely high watching her but she was a rockstar!!

The girls did a practice meet the Saturday before and I was able to get some good pics of her team....

She ended up placing 5th out of 15 and her team placed 3rd!

We got to do some fun things while we were away including a yummy dinner at Paula Deen's restaurant....

We also went to the Pirates Voyage Christmas show and Corban got to help our team when a flag. We and Bryant did a boat race and our team won!! Unfortunately I didn't get a pic :(

We stopped by the Neuse Sports Shop on the way home.....I love how he has his eye shut!!

November Catch-up and Our Thanksgiving 2017

We have had so much fun this month with lots of things to keep us busy! We went shopping for our church's Christmas Village Toy Store.....

Corby got a little distracted :)

Corban and I had sweet day together and got to go to a football game. The Pirates have not had the greatest season but we had a lot of fun!

Aunt Cinni kept our little ones one night so we could go to a supper club with some sweet friends from church and we got back a little late. Corban fell asleep snuggling with one of their foster kittens...

We ran in the Turkey Trot the day of Thanksgiving to help support childhood cancer research and our sweet friends the Stanley family. I ran the 5K and the kids did the one mile fun run. We had a ball!!

We hosted Thanksgiving and had both of our families come. Melisa also invited a VIF teacher from their school who is from Jamaica and has no family here....

We were able to get a lot done over Thanksgiving break.....

AK lost another tooth!!
