Fun at Great Wolf Lodge

Bryant had a conference last week at Great Wolf Lodge in Concord so the kids and I loaded up and joined him for a couple of days. He was in different sessions all day but he was able to join us for some fun in the evening! The kids had a ball playing in the water and playing in the arcade!

I kept the trip a surprise and did not tell the kids we were going until right before we left. AK's teacher sent her a sweet note :)

Cinder the fire dog! He is an Australian Labradoodle who is trained as a therapy dog for Holly Springs Fire Dept. He goes to a lot of conferences and is a really good dog! He is the same age as Beau but is so much calmer!

Anna Kate's February Gymnastics Meet

We are so proud of Anna Kate. She has her very first gymnastics meet on December 3rd. She scored third on all events except for beam where she scored second. She was very disappointed and set a goal for herself to get at least one blue ribbon (first) at the next meet. Well, she surpassed her goal and  got 4 blue ribbons! She continues to love gymnastics and works very hard in the gym and at home!

 So many sweet friends and family came to watch our girl. Aunt Carol and Uncle Bennie were there too-didn't get a pic :(
