Ultrasound picture

Here is our precious baby girl at 17 weeks and 4 days (hard to believe that was 2 weeks ago). She was measuring a bit larger than this (the tech said "she hasn't missed a meal!") ha! So, hopefully she will make her appearance at the end of July. Everything checked out great and we are so thankful!!! Can't wait to see her again!

16 weeks 5 days

Well, this weekend will begin week 17. Thursday is the big day!!! We will hopefully know if it's a boy or girl, but most importantly, a healthy baby! I have officially grown out of most of my pants unless I wear the "Bella Band" (thanks Sarah!) My belly seems to be moving on out. I have been feeling much better this week so hopefully we have turned a corner and I will enjoy the 2nd trimester like all of the books say I should be :) And I swear I am feeling this baby move. I know it may seem a little early but it's the same flutter feeling just in different places and only when I sit down for a while or lay down to go to bed.

Doctor Visit 2/5/10

Well we had a great/short visit today. We got to meet Frieda who was awesome! All they did today was vital signs and listen to the heartbeat (still up in the 150's). We are 14 weeks 5 days. We find out in 3 weeks what this baby will be!! The big day is February 25th. I can't wait!!!

13 Weeks

I have not been good about keeping up with belly pictures. There really hasn't been much to see. However, in this picture I am beginning to see a little bump! This is me at 13 weeks. Today I have felt the best I have felt in a LONG time! Just a little nausea this morning and NO headache all day! YAY! I have a had a headache everyday for the last week. A lot of them have turned into migraines. This is something I'm not used to so I hope they stay away. Other than that, everything else is about the same. We go back to the doctor in less than 2 weeks and I can't wait!!!

The Big "Sister"

Sophie is probably the only one not excited about Baby Beddard's arrival. She has been queen of this house for almost 4 years. In fact, she will be 4 on January 27th! We are a little nervous about what she will do once the baby is here. I know she will go through a lot of jealousy but I hope that she will not feel replaced. I've had people tell me to bring home a blanket from the hospital that the baby has been wrapped in so that she can get used to the smell before the baby comes home. Hope that works!!

Dr. Appt. 01-08-10 - 11 weeks

Today we had our 2nd Dr. appointment. It was a long one! I had to meet with the OB rep for insurance. This baby is expensive already!!! Thank goodness for insurance! Then I got to meet with my first midwife, Carolyn. She was great. She made Bryant and I feel very comfortable. She did a few things and then we got to hear that wonderful sound again! She found the heartbeat with NO problem! Right now Baby Beddard has a heart rate of 160. After we met with Carolyn I had to go to the lab and give ALOT of blood :( but it went well.


Our next appointment is Feb. 5. I'm excited because I will get to see Freida. I have only heard good things about her! And, the fact that she delivered this guy speaks very highly of her!
