Fun Saturday!

I know I'm almost a week behind and we are about to see another Saturday, but better late than never!

We started last Saturday with a soccer game and the MS walk. Bryant took AK to her game and I took Corban with me to the MS walk. He did great and Anna Kate and Bryant came to the walk after the game. She really enjoyed the bouncy house and band and lots of yummy treats!

Brother slept through most of the walk

We walked in honor of Dani, who has become such a sweet friend and neighbor to us!

After the walk we headed home for naps and then went to the Dogwood festival and met up with the Meeks' family. There were lots of rides/games for the kids. Anna Kate was very interested in the ponies but wasn't sure that she wanted to ride one. She finally made up her mind and loved it!

There was also a band at the festival that Anna Kate and Connor enjoyed......they also played a little golf with the help of their daddys.

Soccer and Sweet C

Anna Kate started soccer last Saturday! She did great!

We are just so in love with our sweet Corban. We have had some long nights, but that is to be expected :) He has such a sweet personality and just kind of hangs out unless he is hungry or having his diaper changed!

My heart could burst!! AK lets Corban read with us at night before bed.....this was something I was really looking forward to as it is so important to read to our sweet babies :)

I know these are probably just "gas" smiles but they are sweet!

our first family outing!! We actually found a cart that we could fit both babies and groceries in!!

Aunt Lizzie came to meet C on Monday.....we have been so blessed with friends/family coming to visit and love on our babies and we are so thankful and appreciative for the goodies/meals that have been sent too!

Easter 2013

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! We started by hosting AK's school party. She had a ball!

We did chick-fil-a and cupcakes

Getting ready to say the blessing

She also participated in her first real egg hunt and did great! She had no trouble figuring out what to do and began sharing her eggs with all of her friends (to the point where I had to tell her to stop b/c she was almost out of eggs!) Sweet girl!

We headed to the beach for Easter Sunday and did church and lunch with my family.....

Another handmade precious dress and sweater from our beloved Aunt Carol!!

this is what we get when we ask her to smile (a big ole' cheeeeeeeeese!)

Corban's Sprinkle

My mom, aunt Carol, and dear friends hosted a sprinkle for me and Corban last weekend. We had such a good time and everything was so nice! Anna Kate thoroughly enjoyed herself and got lots of "big sister" gifts too!

This was the food table with cute decorations

His name is so special to me. Our church did a summer reading program last summer of the book of Luke. My bible study was over so it was the perfect time to join in. After I finished Luke with the church I decided to go back and start at the beginning of the New Testament with Matthew and keep reading to Revelation and then go back and read the Old Testament as well. I am still in the New Testament but am really enjoying reading a little bit each night. Anyway, when I got to Mark I saw the word Corban (which is an "act" rather than a name, I think) but loved it and folded the page down (we had recently found out about our new pregnancy at that time) I really didn't think we would use that name but after Bryant and I couldn't agree on ANYTHING he finally said, you choose the first name and let Gray be the middle name (after his Grandad and mother). So, I went back to Corban :) so, that is how I chose his name and the spelling.

 Yum!

 someone really liked the doughnuts!

a "big sis" gift from Aunt Lizze.......she loves puzzles and has played with this everyday since we opened it up! She is getting really good!

February Art Work

Since I can't possibly keep every piece of artwork our sweet girl does, I decided I will try to take monthly pictures to help us remember!

This was from February. She did lots of sticker art (her absolute favorite), she painted with ice cubes, made snow flakes, made a rainbow, and glued transportation cut outs.

We absolutely love her preschool and her teachers, they do such a great job!!
