Lots of Firsts for Anna Kate

Time is truly flying by now that I am back at work. I really didn't want to do go back at first but now I finally am beginning to feel like we are in a good routine. I've got great help with my babies while I'm away which makes it a lot easier! Anna Kate has done so many new things recently I decided to just put it all together into 1 post!

Anna Kate went to her first ECU home game! She had a ball! She made it through the tailgate and until halftime of the game. Grandma came to get her and take her home to Mimi who was keeping brother :)

This was her first day of 3 year old preschool. She is in Miss Kitty's class and loves it! She goes M-F 9-12.

This was the first day of her new gymnastics class. She moved up to the "little flippers" class. Mommy no longer goes on the floor with her :( but she loves it!!

Corban's Baptism

Our sweet Corban was baptized at my home church this past Sunday. We had so many family and friends join us for this special day! After the service we all went back to my parents house for lunch and visiting. What a great day!!

Corban is 5 months old!

On September 10th our sweet little man turned 5 months old. What a joy he is! He has been fighting off a virus for a few days now :( we have had some very long days/nights! He is learning to do so many new things and is so fun to watch. He loves Anna Kate and follows her with his little eyes everywhere she goes. Any time she interacts with him he just laughs out loud!

• He has found his feet!
• Weighs 17.8 lbs (we have had 2 dr visits in the past week!)
• Has begun to roll over consistently and sleeps on his tummy (this make me nervous!)
• Haven't begun solids yet but he is very interested in our food!
• Trying to sit up on his own but not quite ready!
• Does lots of "talking" when he's awake
• Loves the jumper!
• So much fun!

Marbles Museum

On Anna Kate's actual birthday we headed to the Marble's Museum in Raleigh with Kade, Jackson, and Abby. They all had a great time! It is such neat place. There are 2 floors with about 5 or so different activity rooms. The rooms vary from pet shop, farm, dress up, building, wood working, arts and crafts, dramatic play, vet, sports of all kinds, etc. A definite good time!!

Corban 4 months

Our sweet Corban was 4 months old on August 10 :)

• 16 lbs 13 oz (big boy!)
• 25.5 in long (exact same length that sister was at 4 months just 3 lbs heavier :)
• such a laid back baby
• starting to use his hands to grab toys......and mommy's hair!!
• loves to watch Anna Kate do anything!
• enjoys books, the jumparoo and the bumbo chair
• has found the TV 
• we love you so sweet brother!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Anna Kate!!

We celebrated Anna Kate's 3rd birthday on Aug. 3rd at the park. We did it at 10:00 in the morning so it wouldn't be so hot! A lot of her sweet friends came but there were some we missed :) She is a very loved little girl!!

We can't get enough of your sweet smile and gentle spirit. You definitely have a fire in you at times and can be difficult but we know you are listening to us and understand why we discipline. You love Jesus and are beginning to ask more questions, pray, and read Bible stories. We are so thankful God picked us to be your mommy and daddy!
