Christmas 2013

We had such a great Christmas this year! We had a very busy week last week and are really enjoying having this week off at home.

On Monday we headed to Beaufort to meet up with friends for dinner. It was so nice!

We headed back to Greenville on Tuesday for the Christmas Eve service at church. It was great. It was a wonderful time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas: The birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  My parents and brother came back with us and we cooked dinner and made cookies for Santa. We got a few good pictures of the littles before they went to bed in their Christmas jammies! AK was beyond excited!!

Christmas morning Anna Kate was up first. Corban actually decided to sleep in a little! She was so funny coming down the stairs. Her mouth literally dropped when she saw what Santa brought. She wouldn't touch anything for a long time. She just stood and stared. It was so funny!

Santa stopped here!!

Bryant's family came over for breakfast and then we opened presents at our house. We then headed over to Nanny's for lunch and finished up our evening at Grandma's, opening more presents!! These 2 little ones are very blessed!

Anna Kate's 1st Christmas Program

Anna Kate's preschool put on a Christmas concert last week. They combined the 3's and 4's for the show. It was great! Everyone sang all of the songs and nobody got too upset. We were very proud of our littler performer!!

Abby did a great job too!

I hate we didn't get a better picture of our family that came to see the girls.....we had Mrs. Betty, Aunt Carol, Mimi, Grandma, Nanny and Pa!

So thankful for the Christmas season!

Breakfast with Santa!

We went to Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning. Both of my babies got in Santa's lap with no tears! In fact, we were talking with some other friends and AK took it upon to herself to climb up in Santa's lap on her own. She was on a mission! Last year she sat in his lap but would not look at him!

Jolly old St. Nicholas, lean your ear this way.......

Don't you tell a single soul what I'm going to say!!

Who is this guy??

I think I like him!

Anna Kate and Abby started ballet back in October and they love it! We had parent observation last Tuesday night. We really enjoyed getting to see all that Anna Kate has learned.

each girl got to do something around the circle while the teacher did attendance. Most of the girls tip-toed but AK decided to hop around the WHOLE circle. She was very tickled with herself!
