Doctor Visit 4/27/10

We had another check up today. I had the glucose test done and hopefully passed. It really wasn't that bad. We got to see our baby girl again today! Everything still looks great. She is 2lbs 4 oz already (63rd percentile). Although we are 26 weeks 2 days, she is measuring 28 weeks 5 days. They said she is probably just going to be a big baby. Oh MY! Here are a few pictures of the ultrasound from today.
This is her looking head on. You can see both of her eyes, nose and mouth. This looks so different then the one we had 9 weeks ago!

25 Weeks

We are continuing to grow! I've really felt my stomach stretching a lot during the past couple of weeks. I think the next belly picture will have to be in a maternity tank top! Anna Kate continues to be very active especially when I am resting or sitting still. According to the email updates I get she is just over 1.5lbs. I'm glad she can account for some of the weight I've put on!!!

22 Weeks

Oh my! Both of us have done some growing in the past 2 weeks. Anna Kate is now the size of a spaghetti squash. Weighing around 1lb and about 10 in. long. She is a very active little thing. I am still feeling great!

Doctor Visit 3/22/10

We had our 21 week doctor visit today and everything is great! Her heartbeat was in the 140's. I love to hear her heartbeat! My iron is low so I have to begin taking iron supplements. Next appointment is 4/27. I will do my glucose test and have another ultrasound that day. I am so thankful this pregnancy has been going so well and I pray it continues that way! :)

It's Official.....

Our baby girl's name will be: Anna Kathryn. We are planning to call her Anna Kate. I have always loved this name (my great-grandmother was Anna and I am Kathryn). However, it took a little convincing for Bryant. I told him he had until this morning to give me other options because I am ready to get stuff monogrammed! Well, this morning he agreed to Anna Kate. It makes me so happy!

Yesterday we ordered our nursery furniture from The Kid's Room in Greenville. Here is a picture of our crib. I love it!

20 Weeks

I feel like I'm definitely "showing" now! I can definitely feel her kicking. She is most active at night when I am trying to go to sleep! I feel great! We go back to the doctor next Monday. Hopefully everything will continue to go so smoothly!

Ultrasound picture

Here is our precious baby girl at 17 weeks and 4 days (hard to believe that was 2 weeks ago). She was measuring a bit larger than this (the tech said "she hasn't missed a meal!") ha! So, hopefully she will make her appearance at the end of July. Everything checked out great and we are so thankful!!! Can't wait to see her again!
