Rolling Over?!?!

I know I have gotten a little video camera happy these last few days. I got a Flip as my "push present" and I love that thing! Anyway, AK and I were playing on her activity mat this afternoon. She is not a big fan of tummy time but I know she needs to be on her tummy to strengthen her neck and shoulders. She was on her tummy today and decided she didn't want to be anymore so she just rolled right over! It may be a one time thing, but I was very impressed. She did it at least 2 times before I grabbed the camera and then she did it 2 more times while I was videoing. Excuse her at the end of this video, she is OVER showing off for the camera!!

First Bottle Attempt

This is AKB's first bottle. I was able to pump and Bryant was able to feed her for the 1st time. I think he was secretly excited :) She did great! I am so excited as this gives us a little more freedom. I am still going to do most of the feeding but am very happy that she will take a bottle!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Yesterday was Bryant's 28th birthday. I know I'm always a day late in these important posts, but again, it was either sleep or get on the computer. You can guess what I chose! Ha! AK had a rough night before and a rough day. We are starting to battle reflux I think so we went to the doctor and got some good tips and medication if we need it. Last night we went to Rucker John's for dinner and AK did great! I was nervous that she would just scream the whole time after the day we had but she was very content! Here is another sweet picture of our baby girl. You know she is sleeping good when she has her tongue out! Ha!

Surprise......Happy Birthday Mimi!!

Yesterday was my mom's birthday and we wanted to bring AK down to the beach to surprise her. We made a plan with my dad and he invited Mrs. Virginia and Aunt Carol and Bennie to come over for dinner. We had a great time and mom was so surprised and so glad to see her Anna Kate. I can't believe we forgot the camera! AK did great in the car on the way down, she slept the whole way. On the way back however, not so much. She did great until we got to New Bern and she got the hiccups. Hiccups frustrate her so much so she lost it from there and I had to climb in the back to hold the paci in and talk to her:).......since we didn't get any pictures last night, here is a quick one from today! 1 Week Old and BUNCO

Anna Kate.....you are 1 week old! I can't believe how time has already gone by so quickly. You were actually 1 week old yesterday, but I had to choose between sleeping or posting this, so I chose to sleep! You have been such a joy this past week! We love everything about you! So far things have gone pretty smoothly, a few bumps here and there. You have had so many visitors, you are certainly loved by many people.

Last night my BUNCO group was playing so we loaded up and stopped by for the girls to meet AK. Hope had given her a onsie for a shower gift that said "Got Hope?" I put her in it to surprise Hope and she looked so adorable!

Roomies....

......and their baby girls :)BB and Andrew lived together for a while before Andrew and Shannon were married. Whenever we see Andrew he always calls Bryant his "roomie." Ella Grace and Anna Kate have no choice but to be good buddies!
