Ocracoke 2018

We absolutely love Ocracoke Island. It is our favorite summer vacation spot. This year we were able to go with our family and some sweet friends. We didn't have the greatest weather and unfortunately it was a quick trip so we didn't get much beach time, but we still enjoyed being there and away from the everyday busyness!

We decided to stay in a new place this year so we could bring Beau and we really enjoyed it! So did Beau!

We got to the island around lunch time so we got some food at Jason's and then hit the pool.....

This was pretty much the weather the whole time we were there. So, the kids got in a tidal pool we found for a few minutes but then a storm came. We stayed as long as we absolutely could but ending up getting poured on!

When then the weather cleared up we met up and gave kayaking a try. The kids really enjoyed it!

We were able to squeeze in a bike ride......

We decided to cancel the ferry ride home and drive around. I'm really glad we did because the weather ended up being beautiful on the way back and we stopped and climbed the Hatteras lighthouse.

All of the girls got the same bracelet as a special trip momento :)

We can't wait to head back next summer!!!

Disney 2018

We gave the kids a Disney trip for Christmas! We were so excited to hit the road at the end of January. We flew down and went straight to the park! We did several days in Magic Kingdom and then a day each in Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. We had a really good time and got to see all of our favorite characters. The kids even tried a few new rides this year. Corban will definitely be our thrill seeker! AK was not having any roller coasters! We forced her on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and she said she never will ride it again! In fact, on the way home from school today she said "Mommy you won't ever make me ride that again, will you?" I think we have scarred her! Haha!

Corban got to check out the cock-pit with our pilot on our flight down to Florida.....

We went straight to Hollywood Studios when we arrived after dropping our stuff at our resort....
