Anna Kate and Corban are growing so quickly and learning so much! I want to update on some of the things they are up to these days......
Anna Kate is a few months away from finishing pre-k and is registered for Kindergarten!! She is beginning to read and seems very interested in it! She does not love to write because it has been a struggle for her. She has a bit of an issue with strength in her little hands and because of that her writing has been a tad delayed. She is a trooper and is working really hard everyday and has made so much progress!! We are so proud of her.
Anna Kate's Favorite Things:
Disney princess palace pets
Barbies
Finger nail polish
Chapstick
Playing outside
Going to preschool
Singing
Tumbling
Dancing
She loves her little brother (who sometimes may get on her nerves!!) She has recently been sleeping in her bed ALL night for consecutive nights! (This is following a prayer walk we did in our house inviting Jesus into every room and praying out anything that may not be of God. This has been one of the biggest blessings of our lives. We have seen God move in a mighty way in our home!!!).
She is in tumbling once a week and they are ready to move her up to the next level but I am enjoying her being in a class with one other child! She can do cartwheels, round-offs and back bend kick overs. She is learning a lot and really loves it. She talks about going back to gymnastics so that may be in the future.
Corban is changing each day! He is now can pretty much say what he needs :) He often speaks in complete sentences (Mama watch this!, I play mama's bed, Sissy play with me, Pa left me!) There are still some things we can't understand yet but I'm so thankful that he is learning to use words!!
Corban's favorite things....
Tractors
Fire Trucks
Flushing the toliet (he really gets upset if you don't let him flush!)
Being outside!!!
Bath time
Reading books
Watching Disney movies and nursery rhymes
Corban also goes to preschool one day a week. I think he is beginning to enjoy it (when he stays awake!). He will go 3 days next year. I can't believe he will be 2 in about 2 weeks!!
