Corban's 1st Birthday Party!

We had such a fun birthday party for Corban on Sunday. We had our families and a few friends. The weather was great so we were able to do most of the party outside. Here are some of the highlights or his special day! Thank you again Aunt Lizzie for all of your help with the decorations!

Corban is 1!!

Corban had a big birthday yesterday! We are having his party on Sunday but we had a fun filled day celebrating our sweet boy! I had an appointment yesterday so I just took the whole day off :) it was so nice to be able to be with Corban on his big day!

Fun things Corban does at 1:

• wakes up in the morning and bangs on the side of his crib until someone comes to get him. It is so funny! He is usually talking while he is banging too :)
• great eater
• loves to sing and "talk" (says dada, pa, bye bye, ball, occasionally mama)
• Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is his favorite show
• the outfit seen above is 18 months and as you can tell is a little snug!
• I know he needs a haircut ;)
• not quite walking but very close!
• loves books and bath time
• LOVES to be outside (swings, stroller, wagon ride)
• peekaboo is his favorite game 
• he is still a snuggler :)
• adores Anna Kate!

time flies!!

We had such a fun day yesterday! We started our morning off with a special mickey mouse pancake!

our beloved Mrs. Nancy came to stay that morning so I could take AK to school. She brought C some goldfish and AK a new brush. Thank you Mrs. Nancy!!

Mrs. Caroline and Lainey B came over to visit and brought a blueberry treat that Corban LOVED!

after the girls got out of preschool we headed to Sonic for lunch. It was a beautiful day!

Dani came over with a BIG surprise! She got Corban and Anna Kate their very own goldfish!

We have a packed weekend full of celebrating our little man and I can't wait!! We are so thankful for everyone who loves our littles and takes such good care of them!

Birthday Week Present #3

Corban got his big boy carseat today! We haven't put it in the car yet but I know he will love it!

Oh Corby......how I remember the night before you were born! We were so excited and I was so nervous. I remember reading to Anna Kate and doing her nighttime routine one last time as an only child. I think I cried through the whole routine! I was so excited to meet you but nervous about the process of bringing you into the world. God answered so many prayers on your birthday! We can't wait to celebrate you tomorrow and this weekend. You are such a blessing!!

Corban Birthday Week Present #2

Bless his heart......C gets lots of hand-me-downs from his sister (including sippy  cups!) He has been drinking out of mostly pink and purple sippy cups since he was about 6 months old. So tonight for gift #2 of his birthday week Corban got 2 new sippy cups!

Corban's Birthday Week Present 1

During the week of Anna Kate's first birthday, we gave her a small gift each day leading up to her birthday. Of course we are doing the same for sweet Corban!!

Last night I gave him his first gift after bath time. He had no interest in it at all (just like AK!!)

Fresh out of the bath with his hair slicked back! Had no interest in the present.....would much rather play with his toy!

I unwrapped the gift and then he showed a little interest!

Anna Kate got to spend the day with her buddy Leighton on Saturday. They had a blast!

We met for lunch a Chico's

Then we walked through the campus at ECU to get to.....

We finished our fun afternoon with a visit to SweetFrog....yum!!

Fashionista!

A few of my co-workers also work at Belk part-time. They asked me if I thought Anna Kate would want to be in their spring line fashion show that was held last weekend. I knew she would either completely shut down and say she was "too shy" or.....completely turn it on! And.....she completely ROCKED it! She was hilarious! We didn't start the event with many smiles but by the end, she had the whole crowd laughing!
