October Updates

We are back in full swing of school, fall sports and sweet family time! We have also missed a few days of school because of 2 hurricanes. Anna Kate is still in competitive gymnastics and Corban just finished the fall season of baseball and soccer. He also just had his evaluation for Upward basketball which starts in December. Busy, busy, busy!!!

We had such a sweet team this season. The boys all played really hard and Corban has improved so much! He really enjoys the sport!

Corban's sweet Coach Noah! He is a senior in high school and volunteered to coach these boys. He was awesome and Corban adored him!

This was our first experience with fall baseball and Corban's first experience with a pitching machine. He did great! Most games he got a hit!

Birthday pedicures with Mimi!! We had to wait until she had fully recovered from her hip replacement......

Cooking brownies during one of the hurricanes.....I think we stayed in PJ's all day!

Playtime with sweet Carson.....

AK and daddy date to Smashed Waffles......

My dad, Corban and I were able to go to another ECU game.....it was SO hot we only made it to the middle of the 2nd quarter!

Corban is loving school and I am SO thankful!!

Twin day during spirit week.......

More randoms......

Anna Kate had to create a character out of a pumpkin.....thankfully we had the wig so she chose Raggedy Anne!!

Our precious Pa is in the hospital with congestive heart failure.....Corban came home from church and was determined to make him a card and take him a milkshake!!!

We were able to attend the JDRF One Walk in Raleigh to support our buddy Kade!

After the walk we spent the night with the White's in Pittsboro. We are beyond thankful that they are back in NC!

Their neighborhood had a big Halloween party while we were there. They did a trick-or-treat hayride and then dinner and an outside movie. Our little Pandas had a blast! These are not their Halloween costumes this year but thankfully when Aunt Carol made AK's panda costume for the talking zoo, she also made one for Corban too!

Our kindergarten team teaches phonics using the Letterland program. Every Halloween we have Letterland day and the kids can dress up as their favorite character. Corban chose Red Robot.....

Our neighborhood goes all out for Halloween. We got to take part in the halloweenie roast and then went trick-or-treating......I always love to match the kids with their costumes and we had originally planned for something from "The Greatest Showman" but Corban changed his mind and decided he wanted to be an army man. Aunt Carol came through with an "all American girl" costume for AK!!

Kade was able to join us and fit right in with our theme!

Doggies waiting for trick-or-treaters!

We had a picture made of all of the cousins for Nanny and Pa.....

Fall school pics.....

Corban and Bryant went to "Meet the Pirates" baseball event. They had a purple and gold scrimmage and the kids got to run the bases and get the players autographs!

While they were away AK and I went and played with sweet Carson....

Pa and Nanny are both in the same rehab facility now and each are getting stronger everyday!!

We were finally able to have our friends over for dinner in our new house!!!

Corban and AK both had awesome report cards and were rewarded with money from the grandparents. Anna Kate picked out several small things and Corban spent his money on this sweatshirt. He could hardly wait for it to come in the mail!!!

I am so thankful he is loving school! He loves to have his picture made after he has created something.....
