Thanksgiving 2018

We have so much to be thankful for........including a very busy November! While Pa and Nanny were still in the nursing home, the girls helped decorate Nanny's house. We are so thankful they are both home now!

We went to an ECU basketball game and Anna Kate and Abby participated in a bouncy ball relay and won!

We began our Thanksgiving morning with the Turkey Trot 5K. I love this tradition and giving support to the Stanley family!

After the race we headed to Beaufort to celebrate with my side of the family and thankfully Mimi cooked enough for us to bring back to have Thanksgiving with Bryant's family too.....

We woke up early Friday morning and headed to Blowing Rock, NC. We had so much fun and everything was beautiful!

It's hard to see but it was snowing while we were walking around downtown Boone....

We were able to watch the town of Blowing Rock light their Christmas tree and downtown area.....

We were able to do some hiking and go to Linville Caverns. The kids thought it was so cool to be inside a mountain. Beau really enjoyed himself too!

We went the Christmas at Tweetsie and had so much fun but it was SO cold!!!

The next morning we woke up and headed out to find a Christmas tree! We have always had an artificial tree with the kids but this year they really wanted a real tree. Before we headed to the tree farm we stopped for a few photo opts for me to be able to get a good Christmas card pic......

I have never been to a Christmas tree farm before. It was really cool and they have it down to a science! You pick your tree, they give you tag and cut it down. They haul it off to wrap it and put it on your car!

On November 29th we lost our precious Uncle Bennie. He was such a special man to our family (especially the kids). We will miss him dearly.......

And on November 30th Kit-Kat made her much anticipated return!
