August and September Catch up

School is back in full swing. AK has gone back to competitive gymnastics and Corban is loving flag football! We are super busy but it's a fun busy!! September was a month full of birthdays, a hurricane, practices, appointments and games.

Beau waiting his turn on family game night :)

We celebrated Bryant's 37th birthday Aug 25th

 AK and Lydia having fun!

We celebrated Pa's 89th birthday!

Corban loves Dude Perfect! And so do we!!

Corban has begun flag football with Upward sports at Trinity. He is absolutely loving it!

I celebrated 36!

A little catch up from the first day of school. Corban has Ms. Best who was also AK's 1st grade teacher. She sends home a note and confetti for the kids to put under their pillows to take away the nerves of the first day of school. Corban woke up and said "It didn't work!" haha

First day of first grade!

1st day of 4th grade!

1st grade, 4th grade and the beginning of year 14 for me!

I had an eye appointment after school one day....the kids checking each other's vision....

Corban got a 100 +1 on his first spelling test. We are so proud of him! He said....."finally! I have something on the fridge that's not a handprint!" Haha!

Hurricane Dorian made a mess of Mimi and Papa's yard.....we headed down to help clean up and the kiddos got into some old dress-up clothes!

ECU football has begun!

Corban was proud that he had gotten a jump on his homework before I got back to my classroom one afternoon. He wanted to go outside to play so he left me a note...."I readed but I didn't sine it" meaning he had read but didn't sign his reading log. Nice try buddy but you still have to read with mommy!

Beau has been missing his people during the day....

We got to help celebrate Zach and Larissa's marriage.....

Corban had a double header yesterday (lost the first, won the second).....he insisted on sitting at the bar so he could watch this game.....he can't get enough football!

I am SO thankful AK has decided to go back to gymnastics....this was a meet she did not compete in but she will hopefully be ready in January!!

Anna Kate was voted by her class to be their representative for the 4th grade student council rep.....she lost for the grade level by 3 votes but she was very excited to be nominated!

Corban got to bring home the class hermit crab for the weekend. He was so excited and Beau had a good time checking things out!!!
