Swimming Lessons and Mimi's Birthday

We did swimming lessons again at Raynez this year and had another great 2 weeks! Both kids did awesome. We will definitely be going again next year!

Kennedy invited AK to come swim one day after her lessons and this is a pic her sweet mama sent to me......
Corban's newest favorite thing is to have a "picnic" in the playroom :)

We also were able to celebrate Mimi's birthday last weekend :)

Anna Kate Turns 6!!

I cannot believe our sweet girl is 6! I'm so thankful for this blog so I can look back at the documentation of this sweet life:)...This will be a lengthy post because we celebrated our girl all week!

We started off on Sunday night at Mimi and Papa's house. This little tradition started last year when AK decided she needed a Beaufort birthday. Mimi did a special cake and dinner. Aunt Carol and Uncle Bennie came to celebrate and give AK her gifts....

Aunt Carol and Uncle Bennie gave her an American Girl dog that looks just like her! They also gave her several accessories. Corby got a sweet gift too :)

Aunt Cinni knew she was going to be out of town and wouldn't be at the party so she came and picked up Anna Kate on Thursday afternoon. She took her to lunch and then to toys'r'us. Of course she picked out more Shopkins!!

I didn't think I was going to be able to get her to go to sleep on Thursday night with the next day being her birthday. She was so excited! Thankfully she went on to sleep and slept all night! I always like to do birthday balloons and a special bday breakfast.....

Our best buddies Leighton and Mrs. Caroline came into town on Friday afternoon. We played for a while and then headed to visit with Kade (who had just had his tonsils out).

We went to Rucker John's that night for a special bday dinner!

The next morning we woke up bright and early for a Donut Brunch to celebrate with Anna Kate's sweet little friends. All of the girls wore pjs and rotated through different stations. We did make up and nails, bracelets, donut decorating and playing in the playroom. I'm so thankful everything went smoothly and all the little girls had a great time!

These sweet girls did all the makeup and finger nails!
