Christmas Town at Busch Gardens

We took Anna Kate to Busch Gardens last week to see Christmas Town. My family and Grandma Hilda and Jackson joined us. We had a great time! I highly recommend it, especially if you like Christmas lights.
Ready to go with her reindeer shirt on

One of the big Christmas trees. I bet they had imported 500 real trees. It smelled so good all throughout the park!

Riding the train

Loving on a penguin

We got to see real penguins too!

AK and daddy on the train again. We rode the train a lot because AK was too small to ride most of the rides. We tried several but she wasn't quite tall enough :(

They were scared she would try to jump off the horse so she didn't get to ride. But, she loved sitting on the horse for just a minute!

We went and saw Sesame St. Christmas love. AK and Jackson both loved it!!

My Mom made us reservations to have dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus. It was very good and the kids had a great time!
This picture is funny to me! It looks like they are having a little conversation

Posing with Santa

Cookies with Mrs. Claus

Sitting on a horse

We tried to ride the swings too but she was too wiggly and they were scared she would fall out

Holding on tight!! She DID get to ride the carousel!

Another ride she was able to ride.....little gliders

Some of the pretty lights

This was the Escape to Pompeii ride.....so pretty!

Family shot :)

Christmas 2011

I think this is the most pictures I have ever put in one post! I downloaded over 300 from our Christmas day! We had a wonderful Christmas with family this year. We started our morning at home.

The table and chairs were a gift from Aunt Carol and Uncle Bennie but Santa delivered them:)

After some playtime and a nap we headed over to Nanny's for a late lunch and to open more presents.

We are so thankful Uncle Rex is home from the hospital and getting better each day!

Nanny and Pa had a big surprise for the children outside.....

A new bike for Jackson and Dora 4-wheelers for the girls!!

Anna Kate loves her new ride!

Nanny and Pa also got all 3 a new chair

After all of the fun at Nanny and Pa's house we headed down the street to Grandma and Grandaddy Paul's house to open the last of the presents. AK is beyond blessed......and spoiled!!

Christmas Eve

Anna Kate has had a very busy Christmas eve! She and I headed out early this morning to finish up Christmas shopping and get some things from the grocery store. When we got back she was playing with her little people nativity that Mimi gave her last weekend.
I tried to sneak upstairs while she was playing with daddy to get some presents wrapped. It wasn't long before she found me and decided she needed to "help."

After wrapping presents I got her down for a nap and finished up some things. When she got up we headed off to church. It was a great, kid-friendly service! Nanny and Pa joined us!!

I started a new tradition with AK tonight. We baked cookies for Santa. She was so excited! She kept saying "cook, cook!"

Sure hope Santa likes sprinkles :)

We took Anna Kate to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens last Thursday. I will post pics from that after tomorrow's big Christmas Day post!!!
