Anna Kate's 1st Dance Recital

Anna Kate has really enjoyed being in ballet class this year. She started in October and just finished last weekend with a sweet recital. I was a tad disappointed that she was only on stage for about 2 minutes but she did great!

Mother's Day Weekend and Loving Pa

I had a fabulous Mother's Day weekend. I started at Anna Kate's school Friday morning for muffins with mom. Her teachers had a few breakfast items out and the little ones made a few treats for the moms.

We headed to Beaufort on Friday afternoon to spend the weekend. We got up Saturday morning and headed over to the beach. We hit the pool first because it was a little chilly on the ocean. The pool is indoor and heated. AK was once again a little fishy and Corban seemed to like the water. He did not want to stay in his float!!

Bryant and I were able to have a date night on Saturday night. It was so nice. We went to the Channel Marker and sat out on the deck. The food was delicious!

On Sunday we got up and headed to church. We ate lunch at the Spouter with my family and then headed back home to cook dinner with Bryant's family.

I didn't get any good pictures at our house with Bryant's family on Mother's Day but I wanted to document how much Corban loves his Pa! He calls "Pa" often and smiles every time he sees his picture. He LOVES to ride with Pa on the golf cart and I think Pa loves it too!

April Catch Up - Easter, Birthdays, Haircuts, Claire and a Big Boy!

I have so much catching up to do! This will probably be a long post!


Anna Kate had her Easter egg hunt at school.

We did church as a family on the Saturday night before Easter because I had nursery duty on Sunday. We also stayed for the Easter egg hunt after church on Saturday night. It had to be moved inside because of rain but they still had a great time!

The Easter Bunny stopped by our house on Saturday night. The littles had some yummy treats in their baskets when they woke up on Sunday morning. 

Corban got his 1st haircut over Spring Break! It really doesn't look much different, just more out of his eyes and off of his neck. I just can't cut it too short :)

We celebrated Papa's birthday with Granny, Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Jay

Miss Claire Elise Meeks was born!

And.....Corban decided it was time to start walking!! He is also now turned around in his carseat!
