Wrapping up Summer

We have really had a great summer.....I am back at work and school is about to begin but we have been about to squeeze in a few more fun things!


Anna Kate and Anna Grey did a fun nature camp......

Mimi and Papa had the kids most of last week and they had a ball! Mini golf, movies, baking, swimming, and Mimi's school supply store!

Open house for the 19-20 school year!! (1st grade and 4th grade!)

We stopped by the Watermelon Festival and participated in the watermelon eating contest! Haha!

Anna Kate is 9!!

I can hardly believe our sweet girl is 9 years old! What a blessing she is. We were able to celebrate with family on her actual bday and the all she wanted to do was go shopping in Raleigh (instead of a friend party). It was really fun for me to able to get some sweet one on one time with her :)

We dropped C off at soccer camp and went to Starbucks and to get pedis :)

We picked up this sweaty mess and headed to eat lunch with family to celebrate!

Then we headed back to our house to open presents and eat cake......invites to Mimi's school supply store!

We headed to Nanny's for dinner to celebrate with more family.....

Nanny gave the girls each a devotion book (Jesus Calling) to celebrate their baptisms....

When the weekend came AK and I hit the road to go shopping.....we started in Apex with a quick visit with Leighton and Lainey :)

We were able to spend the night with the White's!

Summer Vacation - East Flat Rock, NC

I stumbled upon this really cool resort in Hendersonville (mountains of NC). We last minute made it work for a long weekend trip. We stayed at Highland Lakes and it was so much fun! We had a little 4 bedroom cabin right in the middle of everything. We biked, hiked, went zip lining, climbed Chimney Rock and went river tubing.

Not a lot of time was spent in the pool because it was freezing!!!

Unfortunately Beau well exceeded the weight limit that the resort would allow for dogs, but Mimi and Papa took great care of him while we were gone :)
