Back at the end of February we had the opportunity to go skiing with Cinnamon and her sweet family. It had been 10 years since Bryant and I had been and the kids had never been. We loaded up on a Friday and headed for the VA mountains.
We made a lunch stop in Shortpump, VA and it had a Dick's with this bear!
It was snowing when we arrived!!!
Day 1....getting our equipment and ready for ski lessons....
The kids did a two hour lessons so it gave us time to remember how to ski (haha!) it had been about 10 years since I had been but thankfully it came right back to me....
AK picked it up quickly and was flying down the mountain in no time!
This little rascal didn't listen as well as sissy did during the lesson so he struggled a bit and he got pretty frustrated. However, he and I went to a small practice area and I made him show what he had learned. He went up and down and up and down the practice hill and then he was ready to try the lift again!
Both kiddos went down greens and blues by the end of the day!
We had so much fun having Carson and Maddox in the same condo as us.....

Day 2 we went to the indoor waterpark. It reminded me a lot of Great Wolf Lodge and everybody had a blast!
We finished up the day with tubing!
We can't wait to go back next year!
