Taylor's Bachelorette

The girls went to Savannah this weekend for Taylor's last fling! Her wedding is July 9th and we are so excited!! We stayed in a house right downtown Savannah that actually used to be an orphanage. It had been remodeled and was perfect for the weekend. We could walk everywhere. We had a great time.

While I was gone Anna Kate stayed with my parents (Gane and Papa). She had a ball and was very spoiled all weekend. She loves a pool so my mom bought her a little splash pool and said she had a ball!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy we know!! We love you!We went to the beach on Father's Day to meet up with my parents. We played on the beach and had a picnic and then played in the pool for a little bit.

Pool Fun

Yesterday morning we had playgroup. I left my camera at Rex and Melisa's house so no pictures this month :( but after playgroup we went by there to get our camera and play with Jackson and Abby.

I think AK needs something like this for her birthday. She really enjoys things she can ride/climb on. We have a special birthday present in the works that I am very excited about! I will post on that when it is finished.

After we played for a while inside, Jackson decided he wanted to go swim in the pools outside. We borrowed a bathing suit from Abby and headed outside. Anna Kate had a blast!

Catch up post

We have been so busy lately that I need to play catch up! Now that school is out for me, hopefully I will have more time to post pictures of our sweet girl :) Here are some things we have been up to lately......

Being silly at the dollar tree!

AK has become a climber. This picture was taken with my phone so it's kind of blurry but she has climbed up on her baby stroller and is sitting....ha!

We went to an end-of-the-year teacher cook-out at the McLawhorn's house. Anna Kate had a blast. They live on a farm and have a huge yard...

...So I did a lot of chasing!!

Granny and my mom came to visit today. AK wanted to share some of her favorite books with granny!

10 months old

Anna Kate is 10 months old today! This age is so much fun. She has become very interactive and curious! She is into everything......she has learned how to turn her toys on and is constantly talking and waving to everyone she sees. She is such a joy. She has blonde curly hair and big blue eyes!She loves phones!

At 10 months old you can:

• Walk everywhere!
• Talk/babble (saying dada, no-no, book, bath)
• Still only 2 teeth
• Does not like to wear shoes
• Eating all kinds of foods, really whatever we eat but the baby food is easiest
• Waves hi to everyone
• Loves to read (Brown Bear Brown Bear is her favorite)
• Sleeping about 10 hours at night
• Still loves Sophie!
• Bath time is her favorite and she loves the pool and beach!
• Still will not keep a bow in her hair for very long!
  
• Size 3 diapers and 9-12 and 12 month clothes
  

Yesterday we went to Reagan's 1st birthday and AK had a ball playing outside!

And she made it all the way through church this morning in the nursery! I did not have to leave the service early! I thank you Nickie for keeping her entertained!

First Beach Trip

Anna Kate had her first beach trip Memorial Day weekend. We went down on Saturday to stay with my parents in Beaufort. We took her over to the beach on Sunday and she had a ball! She loved every part of the beach and the pool. Here is a recap of our trip :)

I have to share that my mom was going to be called MiMi but Anna Kate has changed that! My mom is now "Gane" (Jane with a G)......haha. We think AK is trying to say Jane - but that is what she is calling her now and it is too funny!
